Polytope – concrete ring series

Polytope is a series of rings in concrete. It is inspired by the inner nature of the material, namely the process of crystallisation, which is taking place when concrete cures. Although the basic rules for crystal growth are embodied in the chemical structure, the final product is largely dependent on the external conditions. While starting to grow at multiple points, chrystals interfere as well with each others – intersecting, changing direction or adapting size. |
